Aimee Guin grew up competing in Open and PRCA rodeos in Oklahoma, Kansas, and Missouri. She is a PRCA rodeo saddle winner, the recipient of multiple barrel racing and champion buckles, and multiple team roping champion buckles. She has won events in Team Roping, Breakaway Roping, Barrel Racing, and Western Pleasure. She is a multiple NBHA World Qualifier and World Finalist.
Upon moving to Central Alabama, she found little opportunity to carry on with her rodeo endeavors. She got out of the sport of rodeo and horses for several years until she started back riding to give her two daughters the opportunity to share in her love of horses. Now she is very excited to see the change and wonderful opportunities we now have in Alabama and the Southeast to compete in high quality events.
She is a wife, a mother of three children, and continues to compete in Open and Sanctioned barrel races. She was a high school and college athlete and a graduate of the University of Alabama. She knows it takes practice and team work to be successful with our equine athletes.
Aimee loves passing on the knowledge that her early background gave her. She believes in order to be your best, you should never stop seeking new knowledge and always be open to change. This she does, and passes that knowledge along to others. She truly enjoys seeing her students progress to the goals they set for themselves and for their horses. She measures her success by the successes of her students, whether it is their first lope around the arena or a 1D barrel racing championship!
