| Summer Day Camps for Horse Lover's |
|
Campers learn to care for a horse and learn horsemanship skills that include the basics of grooming, tacking, feeding, anatomy, and barn maintenance. Safety while caring for and riding a horse are stressed during this camp. You will have hands on experience in "our world†here at Sipsey Arena. Ages 8 - 18 (Groups are split by age)
Camp includes lunch, drinks, afternoon snack and camp t-shirt.

Camp Sipsey Arena for Barrel Racers |

This is a 3-4 day camp on barrel racing and is geared toward the beginner to intermediate rider. It includes timed runs, horsemanship, safety, performing under pressure, correcting problems, equipment selection and adjustment, and individual work. You will also learn to respect and work with your horse. This is an overnight camp. We have special guest speakers that offer valuable information in their area of expertise such as veterinarians, equine massage therapists, Nutrena representatives, and equine dentists.
Camp includes lunch, drinks, afternoon snack, breakfast and camp t-shirt. Stalls are included in price of camp. Ages 8 - 18 Watch for Summer 2009 Camp dates to be posted along with more detailed information. |

Sipsey Horse Handling |
Roll up your sleeves for this 3 week 1 ½ hour introduction to horse care and safety basics. This class is a "must†for anyone interested in being around horses. Grooming, tacking, and handling are all covered. This is not a riding program.

Home School Educational Programs
Sipsey Ranch Day
An outdoor experience that your students will never forget! Each program is designed to your time frame and resources. Your Ranch Day can include horse education, "hands on†learning to groom horses, tours of the barn, a bonfire when available, picnic lunch and a handler-led horse back ride.
Recommended ages 7-18 This is a 2 hour program. Maximum 10 students. Please contact for more information.

BOARDING
Horse boarding is offered for students of Sipsey Arena. Lease horses are an option when available. If you are interested in keeping a horse at our facility you must be a student and fill out an application. Please call for more information.
